Our Class 1 classroom was transformed into a bustling "Shapes Gallery" this week! To bring our math curriculum to life, our young learners participated in an activity.

Instead of just looking at pictures in a textbook, students were challenged to find "solid shapes" in their very own homes. The results were fantastic—and delicious, and sporty, and colorful!

🎒 From Home to the Classroom

The students arrived with bags full of treasures. It was incredible to see how they identified geometric forms in everyday objects:

  • Spheres: Represented by shiny oranges, tennis balls, and even a lemon.

  • Cubes: Showcased through colorful building blocks and dice.

  • Cylinders: Seen in glue sticks, Pringles cans, and reusable water bottles.

  • Cones: Brought to life by party hats and (empty!) ice cream cones.

  • Rectangular Prisms: Found in cereal boxes ,erasers and juice cartons.
