My Personality Portrait Party 🎉

🎉 Spotlight on Our Class 1 Stars:
     The Personality Portrait Party! 🎉
Our Class 1 classrooms were buzzing with excitement today during "The Personality Portrait Party"! This special self-introduction activity gave our little ones a wonderful platform to build confidence and shine.

Stepping into the spotlight with big smiles and sporting favorite hats, casual outfits, and fun photo frames—the children proudly shared their full names, hobbies, likes, and dislikes. They also practiced essential safety details, like their addresses and contact numbers, and lovingly spoke about their families.

We are incredibly proud of our budding public speakers for celebrating their unique personalities so beautifully today!

🟢🔴🟢🔴🟢 PATTERNS 🔴🟢🔴🟢🔴

Math Meets Art: A Colorful Day in Class 1!

Our Class 1 students turned into little mathematicians and artists today during our Shapes and Color Patterns activity. Instead of just drawing, they explored the world of sequences through the fun of stamping!

Creative Patterns in Action

Using a variety of unique tools, the children practiced creating and extending patterns:

  • Lady Fingers: Created beautiful, natural star-like sequences.

  • Bubble Wrap: Explored "honeycomb" textures and circular grids.

  • Wooden Blocks: Mastered geometric patterns using squares and triangles.

The Learning Outcome

By dipping and stamping, students moved beyond theory to physically "build" math. They learned to identify, create, and predict sequences while developing their fine motor skills.

The classroom was buzzing with excitement—proving that when you add a little paint and a lot of imagination, learning patterns is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Exploring Our World in 3D: A Hands-On Geometry Adventure!

🧊 Exploring Our World in 3D: A Hands-On Geometry Adventure!

Our classroom turned into a "Geometry Lab" today as Class 1 students brought the world of 3D shapes to life! By hunting for objects at home, our young mathematicians discovered that geometry is all around us.
🏠 From Home to School
The variety was impressive! Students identified:
Spheres: Lemon and tennis balls.
Cylinders: Glue sticks and juice cans.
Cubes & Prisms: Dice and cereal boxes.
Cones: Party hats and play-cones.
🗣️ Talking Properties
It wasn't just show-and-tell; it was a deep dive into math vocabulary. Students described their objects by identifying:
Faces: "Is it flat or curved?"
Edges & Vertices: "How many lines and pointy corners does it have?"

By connecting classroom terms to tangible objects, our "Shape Detectives" are building a solid foundation for spatial reasoning. Well done, Class 1!
